Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

Tula

I like to think that she left this world on the breath of a smile.
Last time that I saw her, she wore that smile with a hint of imp
in her dancing eyes - vivid blue eyes that could pierce deeply.
Tula celebrated life with insatiable curiosity.

I learned of Red-Footed and Blue-Footed Boobies,
seabirds of the Galapagos, from her and laughed with delight.
She shared her passion of photography, gardens and travel
with all who would listen, face lit up brightly.

Family was her joy and I heard of children, grandchildren, sisters,
parents, and family she met while traveling to Greece.
She cherished heritage and created a sense of place, a home,
with characteristic no-nonsense style.

She shared her friendship, thoughts and knowledge.
Tula lived with grace.

A wonderful tribute, Alison. I almost feel like I know her....and it sounds like she would be worth knowing.

Tula, I wonder
if you polished last night's moon
as you soared by it

Heartwrenchingly beautiful, dear Alison!

I love the whole tribute very much. I think Tula smiles from above, as she feels your love.

Love and hugs.
