Que Sera Sera

Working to puzzle my way out of thoughts
as I try first to match up the pieces I've wrought.
Then I heard it, ... sera, bringing back memories
imprisoned again in my past, just to tease.

Letting go of the tiresome needs of the now.
If you asked me this battle within should allow
one to rest the arresting of moments of sad,
holding onto the best of the best one once had.

But the pains of today shall diminish in time
and the gamble of tomorrow shall keep me in rhyme
with words I believe without meaning before
to remind me a touch from another's adore

Can bring back those feelings, those now in forgot,
once a slave to my yesterdays, to puzzle me not.

I love this phrase and remember singing it as a kid. (My pet name from my mom was Kay--so I took it personally. )

I still have the attitude but kind of with an edge these days--it's more like, "Ask me if I give a... "

Hugs Mo--we still seem to be on the same page!

Happy Easter lovie.

Thanks Karilea and Marge.

If "things" weren't bad enough, one now has to deal with a bad economy. I have a lot to be thankful for and still some to clear up and hope for better days to come (in this life)
