Beside the locked door
a woman is weeping
collapsed on the floor
she is slow sliding down
hugging her knees
as to muffle the sound
of the war being waged
inside of her mind
the answer's completion
she struggles to find
the key to the bones
in this closet of lies...

How can her conscience deny?

truth taunts - ghosts haunt

she's slowly consumed

by the roots of the blooms
of the hope others plant
to cover her tomb

for the sake of themselves:

Some people's Heaven
runs right through their Hell.

Thanks for the ride, dear! I needed something to blow the cobwebs out of my poetic brain.

You sing well together  --  I think many of us know this woman.  Captivating poetry.

Thank you both for this reality write, that involves me emotionally more than I would like to admit!

But probably only by knowing hell we actually can fully savor heaven, when it reveals itself ... it happens after all!

But indeed why?

My compliments for the duet!

Love,
Margherita

Isn't he just a lovely guy? It was very much a pleasure to work with Ed.

(and folks, his photography is stunning as well!)

Thanks again Ed. And thank you all for taking the "glimpse".
