~The beauty of the moon
against last night's crimson sky
drew me out to lens-gaze
at the beauty before my eyes~

Nice.  We were admiring the moon night before last, but last night was cloudy and today we have a new white blanket on the ground.  All the old snow had melted except for a couple of little patches in shady spots.  Since it'll continue snowing tonight, I don't think we'll see the moon then either.

Marge, you capture the moon so beautifully. Both, with pictures and words.

"Admirers do sigh on the earth below" ... yes! That's what I did yesterday when I saw her in between tree branches sparkling in a clear indigo sky.

Enjoyed your magnificent picture and your poetic words greatly, dear Marge!

Dear Marge:

This is the only glimpse I will have of that gorgeous moon! It has been snowing here for three days now.
