.

After months spent swashbuckling at sea
Sewasham entered his local hostelry

The barkeep remarked “You don’t look too clever
Are you feeling under the weather?”

Sew answered back “You are out of line
I’ll have you know I feel just fine!”

“Well excuse me! Your pardon I beg
But is that not a wooden leg?”

“Aye, I lost that in a fight with Balladeer
But it cost him both arms & an ear”

“And is that not a hook I see
Where your left hand used to be?”

“ I lost that in a duel with Dr Moose
That stupid fool should have called a truce

Now he is a guest of Davey Jones
Nothin’ left of him ‘ceptin his bones”

“ I see you have also lost an eye
Would you mind me asking why?”

“ I was getting my bearings from the sky
When along came a seagull & crapped in my eye”

“ Jeez, How unlucky, is that
Getting blinded by a bird’s crap?”

“ No it was not a case of bad luck
It was the first day with my Hook….”
