Felix and The Derelict

A derelict finds Felix in an alley.
Felix is tore-up pretty bad.

Someone’s gotten bored
and thrown him there.

The derelict takes him to
the emergency ward.

The doctor cuts off Felix’s
knee high paten-leather boots,
to make him more comfortable.

They patch him up
and fit him with a pair of slippers,
and a gown,
then put him to bed.

The derelict shaves,
and checks on Felix next day.

The derelict takes Felix home to his Mom,
who really didn’t notice him gone.

Felix has a new friend,
right here in the land of the free,
and the home of the brave.

Yes, it's very lucky someone with a good heart found Felix that night. Felix is his friend forever. You've always been a good friend to Felix. Of course, he says hello.
