In the fierce final sighs of winter,
blooming pussy willows wave goodbye,
as lambent pink-pastel storm clouds
race in bondage,
seeking new horizons.
When the deep-azure evening sky
slips into the arms of ebony night,
my thoughts embrace
the morning star,
herald of dawn’s
renewal.

this is most fine!

I am especially fond of those:

"lambent pink-pastel storm clouds
rac(ing) in bondage,
seeking new horizons.

and that:

"...deep-azure evening sky
slip(ing) into the arms of ebony night(!)"

v. serious and long-sustained applause!!

and the morning star and the evening star are one and the same...

You...write...unity.

(and I love the word lambent, too)

Such a captivating perception of final good bye sighs of winter, dear Kacy.

Winter's final sigh was more like a roar last night. lady K, yes, lambent is a luminous word.
This morning, though the wind howls intermittently, the sun is shining,
the bird feeder is active, and there are signs of SPRING.
Happy Spring to all!

How lovely.... very calming

here in my town in Nova Scotia,  We thought winter had left but  she lay dorment and awoke with a brutal down fall of snow yesterday.

i am late with my reply. but, your wonderfully crafted poem needs a reread for the sake of simple pleasure.
" In the fierce final sighs of winter,
blooming pussy willows wave goodbye,
as lambent pink-pastel storm clouds
race in bondage" ah! what a good read!
