Felix does a guarded client,
who lives in one
of those fancy gated
communities.

It’s three o’clock in the morning.

The client is worn out,
and tired of Felix.

He pays Felix the money,
looks down his horn-rimmed glasses
at the child,
and puts him out the door.

Felix walks past
the guard at his station.

The guard just looks at Felix,
and lets him pass.

Felix is tired, and he hurts.

It starts to rain,
Felix doesn’t want to rest.

It’s a long walk home.

Bobby

Alison,

For all the Felix's in this world, I say thank you for your kind feelings.

I's sad to know what is lurking out there in the shadow of money.

Dear Ida,

Indeed it is sad.  Money has this strange effect on people.  The more they have, the more they are at a loss as to what to do with it.

It has to be confusing.

Dear Joyce,

Your prayers will be answered soon.   In truth, Felix will find a way.  He's doing very nicely right now, and he is content with his life.

Felix says thanks for your concern.

John,

It was a long walk, but Felix finally made it home.

As far as getting something hot and warm to eat, well, no, that's never in the cards for Felix--more like a slice of balloon bread with strawberry jelly.

Bobby
