Sometimes life is very hard and unkind. But children realize you are unique,
one of a kind. Be strong....... Be your own person. Find the beauty in life....Have faith.
and you will find peaceful tranquility.
Poor Little Child

Poor little child hiding in the darkened closet-
Silent tears so no one will hear
Parents spitting fire with angry words
These words spilling down the highway
of life like hot molten lava.
Driving down a darkened highway-
Anger, screaming vile obscenities
Poor little child in the back seat
Wanting life’s horrors to be silent
Crying in fear.
Poor little child in the darkened closet-
Silent tears so no one will hear
Growing up in a small apartment
Rage filling the small rooms
Objects flying
Poor little child running in fear
Gentle arms enfolding her shaking body
Come here baby
Everything will be alright
Come here let me dry those pretty little brown eyes.
Poor little child in the darkened closet-
Silent tears so no one will hear
Still as the child grows into a woman of today
She sees the beauty around her.
At times when someone around her raises words in anger.
She relives the pain of anxiety-
The fear of many yesterdays of old
Wishing to hide so no one will notice the silent tears.
But today this woman lives a life of tranquility-
Walking about her garden
Noticing all the life that is hidden in this place of peace.
So all you children who have grown up in a family of pain.
You may even be one who hides in a darkened closet.
Do not hide babies
Read my words for I have lived this life
I still feel love
Know that you can find in life
peaceful tranquility.

Bonnie J.

Bon Bon,

I read it.  It's very good.  Please change the font so it's easier for people to read.

Bon Bon,

I think if you copy the text to your word processor, you can use the word processors "font" facility to change the font.

Then you would remove the old post, and paste in the new one.

Many people have already read this fine post, and liked it.  For that reason, I don't think you should take the trouble to change it.

You might keep it in mind for your next post to the site to uses a darker colored font.  The font associated with the site usually works very well.

Sorry I can't be of more help to you on this.
