we were water and sand places
fitting together without blending
I tied your hands with my eyes
you wove them in my mind

you said I blushed you sudden
like the winds that were voyeurs
at our stranger's windows
rattling their applauding fingers

then pressing their invisible
close to the see through wanting
just to notice nonchalantly
what we were trying hard not to

we made our rincon sound songs
there were highways to witness
but there was no sin signs posted
so we just left our love there

as slow dance footprint poems

And the "slow dance footprint poems" are awesome gifts for other witnesses too ...

Hauntingly beautiful, dear D.

February left
rincon waves playing catch up
to his shoreside poems.

Some of your music haunts me.  This is beautiful - and like Maureen says, only you can put words together the way you do.  You weave beauty with poetry.
