They are improvised boxers
when they fight on the ice,
they drop their swollen gloves
sweep the elasticity of their pride,
and their fists turn out fireworks
with timeless sparkles.
At last there is not a heck
of murky violence,
only the beauty of physical dialogue
from man to man.

i consider the boxing in the hockey games as part of the show...i would be sorry if it would disappear and would not enjoy the games the same way...

hello gentle spirit, i hate seeing fights too in real life, it's a lack of thinking that conducts to violence i think...

Nice writing...its part of the game...and if they don't like it they can change the rules...but it would be kindof boring...James
