so speaks the earl of meander's jewel
through the valley of a laughing morn
when the shiny shoes are adrift in slumber

godless as the numbers on their sleeves
blasphemy in leather bucketfuls
with no remaining lists to fill

only the highway side of this heaven
and the solo saddled demon's wing
sweet urgery in salty chrome silence

a brotherhood remains unfathered
even god blesses the wicked who ride
with a icy wind to sooth their wounds

and a curve to guide them to their end

Tremendous writing that will stay with me for long after I'll close this box ...

(it also reminded me of the night when I received a phone call from my son who said with a trembling voice "I a m a l i v e M o m ... " adding that only the motorbike was dead ... he had almost met with his last curve!)

mon mar...thanks for the read ms..seems we lose several lately...guess it is just the time for some..in the mean time the highway is lovely, like a woman with beckoning fingers..
