Long, lean, and lanky
Felix moves his shirtless frame
down Kensington Ave
with a lion like grace
that shouts loudly above
the roar and shriek
of the El overhead.  

Felix prowls proud,
here in our beloved
urban savannah.

Felix is an intriguing character, and I like the way you use him to convey a variety of themes in the human experience. The enigma of being embodies the whole of suffering, delight, and bewilderment. You have a fine writing style, and your poetry is most enjoyable.

Felix is on the prowl indeed.  It may be his jungle but let`s hope he isn`t devoured by it.
