I am not strong enough
to stand the pressure
of what you throw at me.
How you pierce me with thoughtless words
how you shatter me with your actions
I have no protection.
Your grip is too tight
leaving me with no air
so I'm left
suffocating
in my grief.
Grasping for light
for air
for release.
Please
one moment
of rest
give me that.
Understand the power
the agony
which you pass out
in one movement.
Slipping it towards me
feeding it into my soul
so I burst and bleed.
I could shatter into tiny pieces
right before your eyes
watch me disintegrate
watch me fall
see darkness cave in
as you crumble my heart
in your hand.
