you were go cart lovely with oil on your shoes making woman shapes too early for most men to look away from like a fern in summer windows you said you changed cars more than I did the movie channels and you knew my remote was worn so I dressed up on mondays pretending to be your bicycle with slippery pedals on so you would climb the stairs closer and let the blind of me know you ______________ daark |
