Some people can find ways out of impossible situations.
Those are the trail blazers, the history makers.
I'm not as big or strong as I used to be,
not one of the givers, not one of the takers.

I just walk on.

I want no place in history,
nor in your heart,
I don't want to hold it together
when it is falling apart.

I just walk on.

We have what we have-
you were right about that,
but it's never been good enough-

you never saw it from where you're at...

even now when I need you
more than day needs dawn,
more than night needs dusk.

So I'm just walking on.

Oh, dear Dixie, you said that ever so poetically!

You may not be as strong as before, but you have learned your lessons well and what counts you do love yourself and this will bring you true power to cope with all of life's challenges.

Love and hugs.

It takes that, and much more than that to give a message to someone that you are not where you want to be, not with who you want to be with, not going any further...James

Dixie,

Do you feel us all surrounding you and walking with you. You don't walk alone.

Wonderful writing from a wonderful woman.

There you go, I found out recently what you already knew about the family here. If you need a shoulder to lean on, take a look around you.... The ugly one bringing up the rear is me !

Good, I am so glad I made you laugh so hard, now you must feel sorry for me. I make my self laugh so much it is painful..I really must try shaving with my eyes closed!

I like it when you smile....

I love the kind of thoughts this art makes me have. The struggle of just walking on when it can be really hard. Very good

Yo Passing shadows,

Yeah, your boots are made for walking on.  It's always a good idea to strool on down.
