Big Miracles For Little Girls
~*Grandma Poet*~

Little Landry thought that ~Poet's~ Bill
could carve almost anything
so she gave him a tiny broken toy~
With teardrops in her eyes,
trying hard not to wail ...
"Bill, can you carve me a new Eeyore,
cause my plastic one has lost his tail?"

Well, now this is quite the challenge
for a master carver to undertake
He'd never made anything
like this before, for goodness sake~

But on a little girls fourth birthday,
the job was finally complete~
Landry had a new Eeyore
and her smile was oh, so sweet~

"Thank you, Bill"

~*~~*~~*~

~Happy yesterday fourth Birthday to Landry Leigh Tindal~

Happy Birthday to our little Landry. Four years old already. Goodness how the time does fly.

Eeyore is just adorable. We are so impressed with the carvings that Bill does. Such a talented man.

hugs to all, Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Marti

Thanks folks ... ~

Eeyore is carved out of a special piece of Florida Red Cedar, not Cherry, Robert~

Landry loves it ... and Bill does such nice work~

She had a wonderful birthday~

Marge,

Cedar is very soft.  It's difficult to carve because of it's softness.  Extra good job Bill.

Cherry is nice and hard, and takes a knife well.

Thanks to all of you for your years of compliments on Bill's carvings~
You've all seen the beautiful things he does~

Robert~
Bill is a Master Carver ... he works a huge assortment of woods~
The Red Cedar carves nicely and has some of the prettiest figure in it~
Another absolutely gorgeous Florida wood is the Camphor ...~

Bill uses Cherry wood in an assortment of his carvings also~
He is right now doing an oversized Chess Set, complete with the inlaid board~
Using Cherry and Florida Holly for the pieces~

If anyone wants to see a few of his pieces, you can drop by here - http://www.yessy.com/miniguitarman/gallery.html
I've got about three pages of his stuff here~
He sells so many things ... it's hard to keep up with all of it~

Marge,

These are lovely works of art.  I only play at woodcarving.  I could never do work like Bill's.

I'm very much impressed.  Thanks for sending me the link.

Landry Leigh is no longer three,
Her years now number four!
Bill has carved her a special present,
That goes by the name "Eeyore"!

Happy birthday, dear Landry!
You are growing up so fast ~ right before our eyes!

Love,
