UNTOLD STORY

I wish the story could be told
That the finish were in sight
I wonder if the ending
Will turn out wrong or right?

I don't know how it started
Not sure, what happened between
Did I hear those things I've heard?
See all those things I've seen?

There's dreams from dark of night
Those dreamt by light of day
Times I knew where I'd been
Those times I lost my way.

The miles I have traveled
Don't seem that far behind
The time wasted searching
For things I didn't find.

There are people I have known
All those I'll never meet
Moments I'll never forget
Memories, good and bittersweet.

The feelings deep inside
The ones that I've let out
The questions, unknown answers
Of what my life's about.

They're all part of the story
Of things I learned were true
But the story isn't done
And there's so much left to do.

excellent 'write!'

I am particularly fond of the ending lines:

"...Moments I'll never forget
Memories, good and bittersweet.

The feelings deep inside
The ones that I've let out
The questions, unknown answers
Of what my life's about.

Of things I learned were true
But the story isn't done
And there's so much left to do(!)"
