The Last Day

The last day
You and I were together
You took me to the movies
And gave me a cute letter

We were holding hands
With my head up against you
It felt like my day
Was starting over, completely new

But then something happened
You let go of my hand
You held my arms down
And wouldn’t let me stand

I tried to get away from you
You started to touch me down there
I started to scream because
That is one thing I cannot bear

You finally let go
I hit you in the face
That is one bad memory
I never again want to retrace
