widows silk (roadpan part dux)

bring me the widow's silk
and her second hand dance shoes
I prefer the reality of her need

over the shopping eye gypsy
with no woman skin to wear
only her dress up candy coating

that is too small to cover lonely
so she pretends it is another's
and that she just wears it occasionally

for dress up pretend in public
so her girl friends will talk
about something other than empty

that waits in her bed's next room

It is good to see owg out and about, anytime he shows up (even if only for brief occassions. )

Though I still ignore the meaning of "owg", I find this second part equally tremendous as the first and again deeply poignant.
Life and death seem to have revealed quite a few secrets to you.
