Sometimes my mind tiptoes
to the edge rational thought
and peers out
into the mysterious universe,
I lean dangerously forward
in search of light,
If I should lose my balance
and topple over the edge,
will I fall forever?

Let's FALL together! I, for one, prefer the visual image of exploring the depths of the universe to plunking myself down in front of a TV screen!

I love the thought you express here, dear Ida. There is much darkness out there, but every now and then while floating in spirit you will touch upon the light, just to discover that where it shines really bright, is within your own heart.

Enjoyed this greatly.

Love.

Thank you all for your responses.
Bruce, A nod from "The Poet" is most appreciated.
John, Thank you, keep your ears open, I'm very nosy and getting closer to the edge.I always appreciate your comments and that wicked charm.
Kacy, If I'm going to fall off the edge, I couldn't be in better company.
Margharita, I value your comments always, you are such a talented lady.

I just keep thinking that it would be such a beautiful place to fall into.

But, if you went without me, Ida, I am like John -- I'd miss you.

Ida,

This is pretty good.  I'd cahnget the line:

"up to the edge rational thought"

to:

"to the edge of rational thought"

That would be loads better for me.
