Who defines "mad"?

Rambling and running, battling, batting and gunning,
Roiling, broiling, heating and shaking then staking out comfortable spots in the brain waves,
Bobbing, weaving and swerving, racing and chasing and turning,
Constantly rumbling, bubbling, boiling over and doubling,
Seems like insanity, doesn't it?
Well, maybe you're on to something,
Minds in the process of opening are turbulent places to visit,
During expansion of consciousness, one will expose the wizard.
Eh.

I believe 'insanity' can most simply (and perhaps best) be delimited as
the loss of the last shred of minimal confidence in ones fellow humans!

I am particularly fond of the ending line!:

"During expansion of consciousness, one will expose the wizard."

...and finally 'see' all the wounded galaxies tapping
       at your window panes
(the empty mirrors of tomorrow's absurdity)
that reflect the tortured, straining lobes of crystal
hallucinations that taunt the naked, maddening mind!

applause for this 'write!'
