Between the Lines

Words stuck in throat
just want to cry out their release
not wanting to give in or give up
to the thoughts
that are rising today.

It will never end,
this punishment
not wished
but heaped upon me anyway.

No longer feeling control
or in a safe world
or even in a sane one...
wondering
how long
before it all evens out.

VERY effective expression of deep and very real emotion!

"...a safe world
or even...a sane one..."

the above is assuredly a grand-fine dream,
but likely one of the most 'impossible' ones!

I gave up a long time ago on the world being safe or sane and have just learned to roll with the punches. Just stop struggling and things will get better. I'm on your side.

You do not feel in control right now because you are just going through the motions every day, almost on auto pilot I think...it will come out right in the end, I really belive that....keep your chin up
