Silenced
Silence on the surface
Obedient to the end
What the freak is our purpose
If not to question them

Tempted and compromise
Give in and kill the beast inside
Gullible to all the lies
Kneel and smile as she dies

Stripped and abused we lay
Meant to slave and work away
Zombies by night and by day
Guilty need us to pray

Fear gains them rule
Drowning the truth
Empowering a fool
Secrets keep us tame
Afraid of treason
Hatred and blame

Help me wake the others
Sleeping soundly in their beds
Speak to them in a whisper
Arouse the living dead

Uncovering the truth
I am not ready to believe
People would deify you
If conformity is all they knew

Beaten and bruised we lay
Meant to live then die away
Brain dead by night and by day
Leaders need us to pray

Fear gains them rule
Drowning the truth
Empowering a fool
Secrets keep us tame
Afraid of treason
Hatred and blame
