Happy birthday! Happy birthday to me! On this fine day One more year older Maybe one more is okay I am now sixteen The first age most waited for I am still very young I hope I get presents galore! A few days I’ll be driving So I’ll be careful when I go Out on the roads to drive Hope I don’t crash my Laredo!! |

When you go out in your Laredo Make sure you take it nice & slow ‘Cos your new car you don’t want to crash That’s not the idea behind a birthday bash For to get it out of the repair shop You’ll have to sell all the presents that you got And that’s not how you want to spend your special day Uploading pictures on Ebay.... My own granddaughter will be sixteen in April...and she's driving as well. It's a big responsibility...but I was so proud of her yesterday when I called her, left a message on her cell phone to call me...and she called back saying, "couldn't answer the phone, Grandma...I was driving!" She took our advice and is staying off the phone when driving... Drive safe! We want to continue reading your poetry! |
