Tonight I Kiss This Letter

I wish to be kissing you
but tonight I kiss this letter
it is you that owns my heart
right now this is where I am
I know of your loneliness
I look up and see your moon
it is next to my own skin
this one starlit moment where
the moon and I agree to disagree
and time does not pass me by
that you are not in my thoughts
