even then
   you didn't answer me,
only looked away

as if the sun could not shine

only clouds were visible that day

when you looked at me sideways
   as if to say

it's over

my backwards glance to you was

it never really began

I was taken completely by surprise by this write. Your writes are always moving and powerful in a subtle and gentle way, but this one... this one...  WOW.

I can't help but like this one. I just like the idea of a women who is not cying and begging some worthless cad to come back. I've read that story too many times already.
Bravo!

This one, dear Kacy, is a very good one to celebrate today!!
Your are a wonderful example of a true power woman with the right mix of a beautiful mind and a sensitive heart.
Love.

I couldn't possibly improve on the fine and appropriate 'comment/reply'
posts already made pursuant to this author and her 'write'...
other than to add that it further demonstrates her grand range with
'word-paint' and her lovely independent spirit as a very special human being!

serious applause!

I absolutely loved the way you gave an example on how a message can be conveyed without saying a single word.

Bravo!
