I've read every book from cover to cover,
but I'm left with the binding, begging for a glance.
These words will make vain, they only show the best of you.
It's a fault of mine, I see you through my heart and the blood turns my eyes to rose.
You could never do anything wrong. You're the perfect prince to your fairy tale, with the perfect happily ever after, but I'm just the pebble on the path.

marge- thank you, when i originally wrote the poem it had a different ending, but i changed it to the pebble thingy, so i'm very glad you liked it! :-)
