I've tried
to keep some thoughts from you
but when it rains...
I surrender them all
like the earth
surrender to the fall
no defense
just a soaking up
and drowning
complete

Pour down on me
sweet muse
refresh my senses
and desires
become your domain
as if I could dodge
a drop
but find myself new
with thoughts
of you

I'm watching them now
winding down, unopossed
imagine
your touch
fluid refrain
sweet as spring
refreshing,
again
and again
