Love’s Melting Snow
by Linda L. Dowd

When you press your lips to mine,
Winter tastes like summer wine.
Soft breezes blow cold winds away,
As bodies mould like potter's clay.

Touches tender ~ stirring deep,
Together making lovers’ leap,
~ In to the surge of river flow,
As passion melts the winter snow.

Love is the unifying force which integrates
one’s soul with that of another.

I'd love to roll in the snow
With an "Angel" I know
I'd let you on top
Your halo would drop
And we would never get cold

Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't you lie down beside me in the snow, and we can make twin snow angels! Oh, but yours will be so much bigger than mine! Doesn't matter! They will be fraternal twin angels of the opposite sex!

Loved you cute response, Bama Man!

Thanks for the "big warm hug"! I can never get too many of those during the deep-freeze that we're experiencing up here near the North Pole! ~ Well, at least it feels and looks as though our town in near the North Pole! Brrr!

Thank you for the ice reply! ~ I mean "nice" reply!

Sending a "big warm hug" your way as well! Mind you, due to the low temps we're having, the hug may not be as warm as the one that you sent to me!

EEEEEKKKKKKK! I can't help myself! Spiders freak me out ever since I was sleeping out under the stars at Girl Guide camp and I was the subject of a prank because it was my birthday!

After "Koom by awwing" by the campfire, I slipped into my cosy sleeping bag that was teeming with creepy crawlies! I am still traumatized to this very day! ~ and night! I think my Mom and Dad should have put me into therapy!

As for the tights that you returned, it makes no sense that you would not get a deposit back since you actually returned the tights  with a deposit!!!

But I found him curled up in me tights
So I've whipped out my wand & told him to go
Or end up covered in jello

And Ali, you asked what was the flavour?
It was the one all you Ladies favour
The subject of many a fantasy & wildest dream
Obviously it was Whipped Cream....Photobucket

Really, I want to live near a big tree & do manly things with men with exotic names like Will Scarlett, Friar Tuck...Oh, yes and wear tights too....

And I shall be named:  Jell 'O' the Wisp ( Formerly Little John on account of the size of my not so long bow....)

Dear 'Aunt' Tom! Perhaps you are correct in your assumption regarding John's anaesthesia! He must be going through "withdrawal"! That explains it! lol

Just for the record,I am not suffering withdrawal symptoms from the anaesthesia. You have no doubt heard the legend of the disagreement I had with Ye Old buffoon Litle John on the ancient log when he would not yield to his better? Well, he was actually fighting in place of his Sire, Lincoln Green.. I should not have been on said log but Friar Tuck was recovering in the bushes having suffered a seizure caused by trying to catch a Rooster that was chasing some wench called Aziza through Sherwood Forest. When Sire Green asked who was going to do battle with the oaf, I turned around & realising there was no one to back me up ( sounds familiar...) I had barely finished remarking that one could not get the staff anymore when just at that moment I did, right across the top of my head.... so now you know why I am like this, I got shafted from behind when I was not looking....
