.

Heart

I have this special place
Tucked way down deep inside
Where memories that must never be erased
Quietly reside....

Obviously storage has to be controlled
So access is not granted to all
For come the day that I am old
It is the precious things I want to recall

Sometimes I have to tie up the loose ends
And reluctantly have to cull
Recollections of those once considered friends
For fear the memory will become overfull

There have been instances recently
Where I have had to choose
The ones that mean the most to me
And which I’ve had to lose

Those to be kept were carefully restored
And all lovingly filed away
Then I came across this board
Now more are being added every day

So future entries I’ll have to restrict
In the years way down the line
Because the friends I’ve made here at PiP
Shall be there until the end of time...
.

Dear friend, among friends, I do so understand what you have so graciously written. I too have gratitude in my heart for the friends that I have made here ~ and I count you among them.

A love-ly write from a kind and kindred spirit.
Captain Ron is doing a wonderful job of keeping this houseboat afloat and keeping everyone on board, happy!

Love to you ~ and all!

Linda, you know I hope, that you have fast become one of my 'bestest' buddies here and as such are your name is on one of the seats next to Rhiannon.I am unable to thank you enough for the fun you bring to me when we are having our little postettes. I have reserved a seat for Ron as no doubt he will be checking the door for undesirables,

Much Love, John

Ku, I am the lucky one, the only criteria for membership of my exclusive little club is all spaces are restricted to friends. Join the Q, your seat awaits....

I do not want to "waste" an opportunity to post, so rather than start a seperate topic, for anyone who cares to take a look, I have just posted the final piece of my hospital trilogy in behind closed doors.

Save my seat...I just saw an ad about walls that extend outward, and add room to the most full of spaces.

Nice to have you back here John.

John,

The sentiment expressed in this poem is very flattering.

Keep on trucking.

John, a most lovely poem and tribute to those who traverse
these fine blue sands of "P.I.P.-land" with you...we all, of
course, appreciate it profoundly!

Dear John, I love the view and the warmth of the chambers of your heart, it is a nice place to dwell in, as are these pages of blue. It is really a special place, I am blessed for having met so many wonderful poets/friends in here.
Thank you for this precious poetic message.
love and hugs

Maureen, you are so right…you know, when I first began visiting it soon became apparent there was a common thread that I was picking up on… the constant references to family etc…I thought it was very nice but never imagined I would be welcomed into the bosom as it were so warmly & quickly. I am really, really thankful for all the wonderful responses I have had & continue to get from you amazing people…it almost makes being hospitalized worthwhile! Thank you & take care   John

AW, Cheers and don’t forget the chocolate when you check in..!

TD,  your seat has been taken, now stand up and give me a hug….

Bobby, I am grateful for your continued presence & friendship, you have been allocated the seat with Felix & WaWa on one side & Sally & Butch on the other…

James M, glad you enjoyed, you have been tasked with bringing the pineapples….

SHDP…Bruce,  I am both touched & delighted with your kindness,  I shall leave the  decoration of the walls of the chamber in your capable hands . I am confident it shall rival the Sistine chapel for beauty…

Mama M, we are both truly blessed, as for the thanks, it is not for you to thank me, more for me to thank all of the residents of this special place for giving me Love, inspiration & a place to kick off my shoes and relax, I am at peace & at home in here…

Lindsay , thank you I am delighted to be able to class you as a friend, I also love your work, it is the quality of everybody’s work here that drives me on. I hope I occasionally come close….

Ali,  The feeling is mutual, we have much in common, Alaska, these fantastic inmates and........chickens??
Love your posts, please keep at it….

Much Love to you all….John
