Today
I sing of you
under the flow
of pure water
removing
all trace of
past scents,
in anticipation
of your
touch of silk.
Then,
for the rest
of the day,
I’ll wear you
impressed
upon my smile
for all to see,
while moving
weightlessly
upon the
soft cloud
of your fragrance,
which carries
silent whispers,
eloquent
like fragments
of sighs ....
you would
not dare
to voice.

Your illustrious ink is delicately provocative! I love how your pen parries and teases and titillates! Delightful penning, Maga Margherita!

Margharita, You use your third laguage so much better than most people use their first. I always enjoy your poems and your command of the language.

Margherita,

Pure water can sometimes do that.  Perhaps remove even the smell of brimstone, and sewer gas.

Nice work on this inspiring poem.

Dear LadyTom, thank you for your loving morning comment!

Dear Poddar, thank you for the nice comment. Immortal love? Wow, that would be something VAST … like Divine Love. On this level of existence we might be comforted by the thought that every moment lived in love has its own eternity.

Dear Bobby, thank you for taking the time to comment so kindly on this one. Brimstone smell and sewer gas?? Eeeeek  … under the shower I feel as light as a dove … a peace dove! Always ready to soar.

Arctic Wind, thank you dear, here Spring is really in the air … and of course it influences the heart too.

Dear TD, thank you for your sweet comment.

Dear James, Aloha! Thank you!

Dear Michele, thank you, I very much enjoy your visits, Poetess!

Dear Preston, thank you so much! Mind-numbing? I’ll tell you how the receiver end of this little poem will react when he will read it tomorrow …

Love to all and have a wonderful Sunday!
