Each day it gets harder to conceal reality,
Falling deeper in to an endless hole,
with no hope of escape.
Thoughts can be so effortless,
but they may weigh you down.
Inevitably there comes a time when every person feels like they're losing their mind.
Like an incurable disease loneliness strikes,
feelings so painful and memories taking over.
Wishing for a way out.
something to fill up the space that gets emptier by the day.
Shaking hands and tired eyes,
the signs of an impending demise.
No one can see what is inside.
The helping hands seem to shrink,
the caring voices becoming distant.
The endless hole becomes deeper,
sliding dirt and hopeless attempts towards freedom.
Falling away from everything that once had meaning,
too stuck in a frame of mind to do anything.
The heavy heart keeps beating,
until silence shrouds the rhythm.

You write very convincingly of despair, loneliness, disenchantment, and helplessness.
I read your words with a heavy heart.

"The endless hole becomes deeper,
sliding dirt and hopeless attempts towards freedom."

~ Whenever I have slipped into an emotional abyss due to overwhelming life circumstances, I am miraculously given a silver shovel and an extra pair of Divine Hands to help dig me out of the dark hole and back into the Light.

My own hands may not be divine, but they can dig ~ and I can lend you one of my silver shovels. (I have needed several over my lifetime!)
