Thanks for that.

Felix, of course, plans to live forever. The thought of death is way remote. Dying is something other people do, but never Felix.

Dear RDB,

Carbonitrided is a method of hardening steel. The steel is heated up to about 500 C in an atmosphere of ammonia, and some carbon containing gas. The N and C are absorbed into the metal, giving it a very hard surface, to a depth of about fifteen thousands of an inch.
