perhaps in black today
with only imagination under
you will be a cloudy shy sky
dancing over my old ocean

I miss you lady rain
when you are not my dawn coffee
when you are not the whispering
that wears my music

bring for me your nectar
and bathe my upturned mouth
til I am gulping with smiles
the flavors of your heaven

fill my footprints with your lather
and take from them the deep empty
always wanting more of your liquor
to satiate their missed directions

give us this day our riverings

Will we ever convince you, dear D. to bind these jewels into books? They would be a precious collection.

I agree with Margherita (and it seems that I am ALWAYS in agreement with her! lol) ~

"Will we ever convince you, dear D. to bind these jewels into books? They would be a precious collection."

Dark One, there is much light in your poetry. ~ Albeit, a great deal of it is of a soft, ambient, and sultry variety.

It would also appear to me from your sensuous pennings, that you are 'tantrically' talented, as well!

stretched out against sky
sipping word clouds wet with rain,
thirst has a new name.

This was so very lovely, DS.

D

Sometimes your poetry is so beautiful that it hurts to read it.

Beauty does that sometimes.

Yes, D.  It is a pain that one gets when they see something that is almost too beautiful.  Don't want to sound like I am gushing here - but, do you know what I mean?

I read this before and haven't had time to reply until now but find that I am still at a loss for words that do it justice.  The beauty of your words touch so deeply sometimes, that it makes me shiver.  Absolutely lovely, D.
