When I was young,
The seasons turned
So agonizing slow,
That days alone
Seemed years that now,
Like minutes come and go.

Ain't that the truth!?!

Hi, Tom! Welcome aboard the pip ship!

Time is now flying by and I'm wanting to put on the breaks! When we're young we feel as though we will live forever, but as years go by we realize that they are slipping away like sand through an hour glass! Too bad we can't flip it over and begin our lives all over again (with some improvements thrown in for good measure!) ~ Or we could reincarnate!

Giving you a warm, welcoming, pip hug,

Earth Angel

Welcome Robert!  You said it perfectly.  I remember that about time, especially my 12th year, when I thought that to be a teenager would be a wonderful thing.

Hello Bob,

I've been watching your first poem since you posted it, and I'm pleased to see that you've received so many kind responses from our PiPtalk folks.

It was a true pleasure to meet you, and I will be looking forward to seeing many more of your fine works here on our poetry boards.  I have to say, it feels good that I have your book so that I can read more at my leisure as well.

Again, thanks for gracing our blue pages.
