Where no tyranny is tolerable

0 posted 2008-02-27 07:36 AM

Nobody lives here.
That's why everybody is living somewhere else.
It wouldn't be desirable
for everybody to be living here anyway,
because there wouldn't be room for everybody.
Why, if everybody lived here,
then I couldn't live here,
not with everybody else around.
I couldn't eat.
Too many dirty little hands raiding my pantry.
I couldn't sleep.
Too many trying to get in bed with me!
I couldn't take a shower,
because I would have to wait in line, and stuff ...
I couldn't hear, not with all that noise and stuff.
So maybe it's better
that I'm the only one who's living here,
even though at times it's rather lonely.
Maybe it's better, for them and for me,
that everybody's living somewhere else.
How many people are living somewhere else?

I use to visit father in Mexico City.
Then he passed away, so I don't go there anymore.
I don't go there now
because nobody lives there anymore.
I use to talk to Mother goose in Brownsville.
then she passed away, so we are poor orphans now;
and nobody lives in Brownsville anymore.
I use to work in Boulder,
but, as Mistletoe Angel can attest,
nobody lives in Boulder anymore.
Really, really, seriously!
Eh Noah?
Haven't you noticed Boulder is a ghost town?
Everybody goes to restaurants.
That's why they're so crowded.
I'm glad I don't have to live in a restaurant;
I mean, the crowds, the noise, everything.
How many dead people are there?
That is, how many people are there who do not exist?

There are only two people in the world,
just Me, who are writing this,
and You, who is reading this.
So where is everybody? ... ...
Maybe they're in Australia,
although I haven't been down there personally
to check if anybody really lives there.
Acording to Pip, Lindsey P lives there ...

(This message was composed for the laughter of Alison
(because nobody lives in Alaska)
(too many muskegs)
Hey, nobody's human!

Jaime,

I am laughing - but my heart is filled with the gift of your friendship.  Thank you for all the wonderful that you write.  I am glad that you are my friend and this is a friendship that I have grown to cherish.

I am not home right now - and darling Marge emailed me to check this post out.  I had to come see what you had written and ... I am smiling very big right now.

You are a wonderful man, my friend.

Alison

RDB.
Thank you for the updated information.
It sounds like it is pretty crowded down down under at least from the perspective of up over!  Is it illegal to posess a personal boomerang down in Auzie land?  Do the kangaroos sand on there heads because they think they are in China?  Seriously, really really really ...
Awww, Ali.  What fun it is to be with you on Pip.
There must be others who live in Alaska???
Is the state bird of alaska the mosquitos?
(teasing)
May the fly of paradise go buzzing up your left nostrel.
Ha ... ha ... ha ...hachooooooooooo!!
I am in too silly a modd maybe I better get off and have dinner...
Dear ali, ...
Love and hugs for you!

Jaime, There is so much I want to say about this having spent some time in Alaska myself... Unfortunately I am unable to comment as I am not really here & so have not read this which means I cannot possibly comment even if I wanted to...( I think??)

Jaime

Too often our state bird seems to be the middle finger.  And many do think it is the Mosquito.  The Mosquito even seems to think that.  It's the Ptarmigan.  P is silent in the name of this bird (smiles).

Thanks for the writings you do.

Ali
