my eyes they burn with what they've seen,
my ears they hurt from trying to hear,

things are rarely "what could've been",
maybe because
"seeing isn't always believing" and
"hearing isn't listening"

How is it that after your heart is ripped out, you feel so much?

Your poem made me think ~ really think! ~ and I like that! I read it 4 times! I guess seeing isn't necessarily believing! lol

Only one mouth..two ears...listen twice as much as you speak.....if you want to see your dreams come true..don't sleep.....hearing is not listening....ask any husband's wife...
