and now on this gypsy morrow
where the dawn of morning is sleeveless
nude as gauze over a yawning window's eye

I wonder of the gata's waking writhe
how does she prowl her purgatory passion
how does she bristle her fur to glisten

and nudge the wanting waiting of doorways
as she prances her dancing to those moments
when mindless of the skin of woman she pines

not for the embracing lathering of leather
or the momentary memories of her males
but for some solstice in samba solution

on her island of snow signs reading whispers

I will admit (no malice intended) that I did not understand. But I do love your phrases. They created wonderful images for me.

feeling the whispers
between the screams
fades the sudden silence
of her voiceless morning

Yo Dark Stranger,

Be careful of that shark.  She's got teeth, too, and she can bite.

This is a cool poem.

I think that we don't always have to understand the words to understand the passion of a poem.  Sometimes reading poetry reminds me of listening to opera.  I feel myself soaring beyond the spoken word, carried by the passion of the moment.

There are times, D, when I feel this with your poetry.  The words flow, the passion is there and I ride along with the feeling I get.

Thank you for the momentary aria.

Dark Stranger,

Oops, my error, you're talking Spanish.  I thought you meant a Gata Shark.  Their mating habits are somewhat interesting.

Like I said, I like it a lot.
