  Spring Revivals

In the march of
lengthening days,
soon winter’s grip
must loosen…
lightening hearts
  and spirits,
prepared to dance
with our memories
  and dreams,
of fine white clouds
and songbirds,
nesting in these
verdant-velvet hills
and aqua mists
of early spring!

Beautiful, dear Bruce, it makes me want to inhale deeply! Here all the Mimosa trees are in full bloom and their sweet scent inebriates the hearts.

Secondhanddreampoet,

Nice work.  As an old bee keeper, I remember the honey flow from the Honey Locust trees.  They bloom in late spring.

Taking care of bees is the only thing I didn't hate about country life.

Beautiful, Bruce. You write as if the grip of winter is loosening its claws and allowing you too see the promise of season's changes.

Equinox is coming!

PS ... Bobby, I am like that about city life.  There is little about it that draws me.

What a fine tribute you’ve given to the subtle increasing light, as Persephone holds Spring hostage and we dream of days to come in green and gold. I enjoy your vision, painted with a tender palette.

Lovely, Bruce. It has been raining here for a few days so right now I'm not feeling spring so much. It is very grey and gloomy outside.

Bruce, your exquisite, vernal poem certainly revives my spirit from the February blahs!

I am filled with anticipation for the coming spring! Thanks for bringing it even closer!

Love & Spring Light,
Linda
