Tree Whispers
~*Marge Tindal*~

In memoried corners of childhood meadows
we pause momentarily to hear the sighs
of tree whispers from the past
calling us to realize
that we were
we still are
alive~

***For Karen, she knows the why***

Though tree whispers quiet with time,
we are secure in the memories
of childhood games and secrets.

As usual, you brought a smile to my face

Thankee everyone~
Ya' see ... Karen and I had a 'conversation', and in spite of what she says,"what a lovely surprise, 'cause no, I didn't know you would!" ... yes she did !!!
LOL ... now don't go contradicting me young lady !!!

Give me a thought and you know me well enough by now to KNOW I'm gonna run with it~

Get up and go plant a tree named 'Wilmer'~

This brings joy, the words are beautiful and the intention to plant a tree with a certain name is a fantastic idea.

Good poem. The line divisions are perfect and add a layered effect to the poem. Thanks for posting it.
