Stuffing voice into my ears
constellations of your azure eyes
came knocking at my door
you tipped my wonder off balance
with flashes that could blind a deer
you were that someone behind
pushing me
skewing off balance
I’m underwater
In your ocean
where I breathe means
scent of
stay-at-home skies
herbs 4 life
you've given so many

your smile
your light

found it’s home
on my face &
the faces
of many others
your that
erotic out-of-body experience
answering spiritual questions
your words guided so man
since we were kids

friendship
tells the tale of a woman
pulling me right past destiny
where time
goes back
to find sustenance
you sprinkled dreams
within my soul where
fiery passion paints
a whole new meaning
you gave me that meaning

sometimes a girl
just needs to believe
her heart lives deep
in a far off time
where some symphony
strings her
deepest most inner essence
where men and women
become one...no longer seperate
but
true souls of mankind

friendship is where
poetry turns
into metaphysics
that otherwise,
might merge into secrets
of joy, nature
and there,
in one surprise
of afternoon
you...you meet me
in sun rise prayer
gazing earnestly
into my eyes
where we become
a river of sighs
a river of man

since we were children
a friendship beyond
what most have known
respect, adoration
and mid summer dreams
which reflect time spent well

thank you Ron...
you've been a mentor
a protector of souls
a friend of reviews
skipping
mysterious news

mentor of faith
in our cafe of life
always follow your heart

...and we grow....

in those oceananic blue eyes
of yours

to a very special soul & dear friend, whom I've known since 7th grade

you've given me a lifetime of joy....

I Love You...

Lee J.

Lee, your friend Ron sounds like the kind of friend everybody would like to have!  ~ and I believe we attract what we ourselves are! To have a friend, one must be a friend ~ and good friends beget good friends!

This loving poem of love, appreciation, and gratitude will surely touch the heart of your life-long friend. ~ A gift from one to another .

Much love to both you and your friend Ron,

Linda

LeeJ,

It's really great to see you again.

Ron sounds like a great guy.

Nice poem, as usual.

There is rarely a time when I read your poetry
that I can center on one stanza that says
it all for me...usually I would end up copying everything
and taking up bandwidth...

but these lines are particularly pleasing
and soundly sentimental to this heart.

Oh my, thanks so much dear friends, for stopping by to read and leave a special hello.

Yes, Ron is a very special guy, matter of fact, one of the most special boys and men in my life...always a gentleman, a generous heart...a soul who loves unconditionally...we've been friends for a long long time....and it just seems like yesterday I first met him..we had so many classes together in school...he was so loved by so many gals...such a handsome young man...and still is....but not nearly as beautiful as the heart and soul he owns.  Ohhh my, he shines such light...and love for mankind...
I felt it was time he needed to know that he is respected, admired and loved, dearly and the world has been a better place with him in it...

Thanks again, to all of you, for taking the time to read.

I wanted to bring this back up in tribute to my friend Ronnie, as he passed away a year ago, and when I wrote this, he was ill...I miss him dearly, a true friend

Oh Lee. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

I hope you will find an opened closure,
when it is time.
