Little Felix is out
walking his street.

He’s approached by two
well dressed people.

They advise him that
he needs to be “Born Again”.

Since Felix has been advised
never to talk to strangers,
he turns and runs away.

Felix goes home,
and talks to his Mom.

“Yo Mom,
can I be born again?

Mom looks him
up and down.

She says, “No,
I think I’d like
to pass on that”.

Bobby

it may have gone over mom's head...but not ours! Clever, funny and poignant!

Now I know why they always taught me never to talk to strangers. Just as well, I didn't have any money anyway.

Good. a experience might have made Felix think something. I wish him happy. A good day for Felix was a day when nothing too bad happened to him.

Enjoyed this, dear Bobby. The strangest ideas circulate and Felix choose well to refer the fact to his Mom, who replied in a way he never forgot! Every bit of wisdom is tucked away and make the man.

love,
Margherita

Ida,

It's very wise not to talk to strangers.  I learned that from a similar incident.  It was raining, and I was small.  A person like that stopped me on the street, and lectured my ear off.  I got sick the next day with a bad sour throat.

John,

Thanks for commenting.

You know, he might have been born at night.  Somehow, the night seems to suit him.

Margherita,

Yes, Felix was wise to consult Mom.  She was a very wise woman.

Dear RDB,

Felix's Mom was a wonderfully kind and gentle woman.  Even though Felix didn't always behave properly, his mother never gave up on him, or failed to support him.

Thanks for your kindness.

Visitvenus,

I'm very glad this one made you chuckle.  We can all use a good laugh, or chuckle now and again.

I like your handle.  It's very original.
