I can't wait to have a child
I've dreamt forever to hold you
my time clock is ticking
and doubts I have a few

I want to hold you in my arms
and sing you lullabyes
I want to change every diaper
and wipe away your cries

I want to count all your fingers
and every one of your toes
I want to kiss every inch of you
and maybe call you Rose

When I hold you in my arms
I want to feel your heart beat
I want to bounce you on my knee
and buckle you in a car seat

I want you to see the world
when I take you for a ride
I want you to be so happy
I want to see you as a bride

I know I ask alot of God
cause I'm going on fortytwo
but I think I still got some time
to make a baby just like you

Very cute Lynn & I have to tell you, my wife was coming up to 41 & we had been married 18 years before our Angel came along. I can honestly say that knowing what I do now I would not have it any other way. Personally, I have more patience than I think I would have had 20 odd years ago. Of course, I worry that being so "old" will I still be here to do the important stuff like walking Her down the aisle etc,I guess that is probably the main reason that I enjoy every single minute that we spend together. Given that my wife works almost every Saturday, that equates to a lot of fun times....Do not give up hope or trying, it will all come good in the end,

John

Hope you get what you want...one of my grown sons sent me an email about 2 days ago, with a picture of me holding him when he was about two weeks old...and telling me that he loved me...it was a wonderful email...James
