    Land of Lost Souls

A deep salmon sunset
from a wind-pierced dream,
tips sepia clouds in flaming
  amber,
over grand grey waves
crashing in the shadows,
where Winter sorrow sits
with time-shattered souls,
(beyond all rhythms of history
  and hope)
on the barren, rock-bound
shores of endless, forsaken
  love.

sad, sad, sad. A land of lost souls and forsaken love and full of sorrow.
I shall wait close eyed for the sunrise tomorrow.

Bruce, you painted this with splashing oils mixed with tears.

Beautiful.

Bruce,  you do this so well, I echo what Alison says & would add that I am beginning to think you write with a brush as opposed to a pen.....

A graceful hand and gentle heart give the kaleidoscope a quarter-turn, and we see eternal sadness new hues.
