Windsongs tease in tangle
   Jingle jangle, alight and disappear;
Stars ring the chime of night
Tingling pewter in frisky air

All is well for a moment
Until voiced, its moans and groans.
The wind forgets its whisper,
Rather, invokes its thunderous blowings.

Cuddled in arms, his teddy bear,
Though chinkle ignites chilled fear;
It’s musical intent, now unwelcome,
Until from silence breath is dared.

Then, past are whispers and tangling chimes,
The midnight moanings, the hidden grind
of branches pawing tin;
When out from covers steps the child,
Bearing Teddy under chin.

Glad you liked the description...  The wind chimes are very active this weekend so I thought I'd try to write the sounds I'm hearing.

Thanks for your kind response, Arctic Wind.

I heard them as I was reading.  I like this, Miscellanea.  It's a bit different and it kind of just captivated me.

Dear Misc, you made the wind chimes resound within my breast and ... you increased the longing for my daughter's home in Belgium, she has them too and I love to listen to them.

Beautiful!!

love and hugs

I love wind chimes! ~ as well as your entrancing poem about them!

You did a delightful job of writing about these wind songs! Their music always touches my spirit. I especially enjoy the gentle tinkling in a  spring or summer breeze whilst lying in my bed at night with my window open. The sound is so soothing and comforting and I have the most pleasant dreams.

A lovely penning, Ms Misce'
