and let the sun shine bright
and the rain fall down
and the winds blow their gentle
and the gentle be you

and let the air take a breath
and the sky blaze blue
and the rivers flow their natural
and the natural be you

and let the days be full
and the nights be long
and the summers bring their smiles
and the smiles be you

for you are a light to behold...

Oh, dear Roniece, you created a masterpiece!

I am listening to divine music right now and your words are the perfect accompaniment to its overwhelming beauty (prayers from lyrical Operas ... Haydn, Tschaikovsky, Donizetti ...).

This is my absolute favorite of yours!
Deeply captivating!

love and hugs
Margherita

I have to echo Margherita(if she doesn't mind), if it's not the best thing you have written, its certainly up there.

the gentle and natural delivered with light and smiles...
who could ask for more?!...

this is one of the best poems I have EVER read!

very serious and long-sustained applause...

Dear RDB,

There is a very nice thought behind this poem.

Try it without the "and"s starting the lines.  I imagined it without them, and it works great.

I gotta go get ready for Mass.

I am sure that these words deeply moved the person they were written for.

I posted this earlier, but it doesn't seem to have appeared.

I just think these words must have deeply moved the person you wrote them for.
