I wanted to write you both a Valentine
But I didn’t know where to start
So I thought what I would do
Is get a Tattoo
Of a Big Red pulsing Heart

I decided to have your names
Etched in flames
With swallows circling overhead
But when I sat in the Chair
And they began to shave off the hair

I collapsed on the floor instead ...

My friend (it's not me honest!) has half a tatoo on his shoulder. He says it hurt far too much to hang around.

Bobby, Thanks for the vote... very similar name to the guardian of our “ Felix” any connection or purely coincidence? If it is the latter, then may I be the first to give you a warm welcome to the Pip family......

Margherita

So pleased to make you smile but I must admit to being less than happy with this one. It was ‘cobbled’ together in the last 15 minutes in an attempt to cheer myself up. I did want to write something romantic / happy but was unable to locate the necessary spark...

Si, I’m sure you can still get the tattoos in the bubble gum that you have to spit on ! LOL....are you sure it’s not you??

John,

I'm the same Bobby Jordan.  I had trouble when my ISP went down for a time.

Thanks for the welcome back.

A heart untouched bumped faster
A lip unkissed was redder
because today, the Valentine time
I simply had a fever.
I don't want to share the love bug
but it strives out its desire.

I am having a flu
Cough, cough, cough

have a happy Valentine, dear John!!!
If this does not bring my temperature down, hope it can bring your mood up.

Dear John, thank you very much. You know, it is the thought that counts.... You are so right

In reality, it does not work this way, dear John.

I just dragged myself out to pick up my "GPS"s from school and I have to prepare dinner. And I have to practice for tomorrow evening's performance in church..The old Sarah. While the thought is sitting on the couch predicting the election

Dear John, when I wrote to you, I indeed had a fever. And later came back to read again very briefly, I thought I saw your picture. at 39C I thought I had a illusion.
You indeed post your picture ...with your lovely daughter. How warm to see that!!!! and YOu are very handsome man. Why Oscar made people named John or Jack quite plain?
Have a wonderful day.

Thanks Tom......Where do I send the check again, or you prefer Western Union??

PS, you think that is an adoring look on Her face?

Nope,  I'm stood on Her foot....

How interesting that it was in my mind that I would have made a comment on how this little girl adored his father. I loved her genuine expression. But under 38.5C I forgot. Now I am quite disappointed at knowing the truth.

Tom,  I was only joking,  that truly is the look of love in her eyes & I am so lucky that she feels as strongly for me as I do for her....I guess it is because I was the main one who raised her from the day I held her in my arms for the first time until she started nursery. She is at the moment taking one of the lead roles in the church pantomine & is by all accounts getting rave reviews.I get to go & see for myself tomorrow,,,,

I am so glad to read a loving father's heart. You are a wonderful father, John.  I myself have a great father too. He spoiled me in many ways.
No doubt,Little Rhiannon is one of the luckiest child.
-----
Little girl Rhiannon
Little elegant lady
Put on your prettiest spring dress
The one with a huge butterfly at back
That Mommy has tied it neatly
for many many  years with her heart
And laced around with snow flakes

And wear your beautiful  straw hat
The one with little rose buds
In pink along the edge
The long satin ribbons  fly
In Daddy’ smile.

Go out, dear little girl
To climb a tree
To listen to your Daddy’s scream
And stroll through a mud pond
To watch mommy’s tear dropping down.

Then you know how much they love you.
They always want you to be as clean as a pearl
And back to the form shell
To be nurtured
In the greatest tenderness.

I'll try to edit it to make it rhyme.

Tom,   Thank you very much.  You are a dear man & have decided to make you my bestest cyber pal if you don’t mind?  Your comments are always a delight to read & I have a strong feeling of friendship between us.

I love the poem you did for Rhiannon & would love to see the finished version..... I will pick it up at Denny’s on Sunset in May, Ok??

Take care & I hope you have recovered from the ‘flu...

Your Friend
