  Transcendence

On the mirror-edge
between slate grey
  sky
and celadon lake,
a small blue boat
  drifts,
time-abeyant…
transcending all
   purpose.

Secondhanddreampoet,

Very well put.  I think things that transcend purpose are greatly artistic.

Beautiful!!!
Is This the moment that we let ourself disappear totally from existence? Is this the moment that our soul melted with nature? Is this the moment we truly felt eternity?
why do we feel like this? And sometimes tears come out?
beautiful poem truly.

This feels so familiar, as though it is somehow a part of my soul. I know this palette, and can almost name the artist. Almost...

You've written a fine tribute to this image.

Bruce~
I was brought to the edge of recall
of the beauty of silence-in-tow,
my favorite time sailing across a small lake in Clermont, FL~
Ah ... those are the times of fond remember~
Thank you~

This has got my mind whirling. This captures a lot with few words.

I'd so like to be laying on my back in that boat, the sun on my face & a song in my heart...

Thanks  Bruce

You evoke an image that induces contemplation.
Truly beautiful with lingering feelings of peace.

Capturing a moment in time and so few words but much depth of meaning..

Thank you..
