Lies the destruction of meaningful things

Lies hurt without mercy, has no limits

Lies disclosed, will turn you cold

Lies to benefit the ego of a selfish soul

In the long run those lies consume you

Becoming a way of life

A life that is built based on lies

Which become your reality, your truth

Turning our trust into dust

Teaching us trust is for no one, just ourselves

Its been said that lies

are ways of protecting your loved one from a hurtful truth

Its been said that a white lie is ok

As long as it hurts no one along the way

But in truth a lie hurts no matter what

And the pain leaves you cold, and makes you selfish

Where you no longer share of yourself,

But roam this world with a protective armor

Around your heart….

And every so often lies can make......

"so better things can fall together"
